1. INTRODUCTION

This page explains the process for deleting your Parking Sthal account and provides all required information in accordance with data protection laws and Play Store guidelines.

If you choose to delete your account, your personal data will be removed or anonymized except where retention is required for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes.

2. HOW TO DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT

You can delete your Parking Sthal account using the in-app option. Follow these steps:

1. Log in to the Parking Sthal app.
2. Go to the Profile section.
3. Open Account Settings.
4. Select Delete My Account.
5. Review the information shown about data deletion and retention.
6. Tap Delete to confirm the request.

Once confirmed, your deletion request is submitted and processed according to our internal verification and legal retention policies.

3. DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT VIA EMAIL

If you cannot access your app, you may request deletion by sending an email from your registered email address to:

Use the subject: Account Deletion Request

Your email must include:

• Your full name
• Registered mobile number
• Registered email address
• Vehicle registration number used in the app
• A statement clearly requesting deletion of your Parking Sthal account

4. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT

Upon processing your deletion request:

• Your user account is permanently deactivated.
• Your personal profile details are deleted or anonymized.
• Saved preferences, history, and app-specific settings are removed.
• Third-party payment gateways remove stored payment tokens as per their policies. Parking Sthal does not store full card details.
• Marketing and notification preferences are disabled.

Some information may still be retained temporarily for the following reasons:

• Legal, regulatory, tax, and audit obligations
• Fraud detection and security logs
• Aggregated or anonymized data that does not identify you personally

5. PROCESSING TIME

Account deletion requests are typically processed within a reasonable time after verifying your identity and ensuring there are no active disputes or unresolved payments.

6. ACTIVE BOOKINGS AND PENDING REFUNDS

If you have active or upcoming bookings, or pending refunds, processing of the deletion request may be delayed until those items are resolved.

7. YOUR DATA RIGHTS

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you retain the right to:

• Request correction of your personal data
• Request deletion of your account
• Withdraw consent for optional processing
• Raise privacy-related grievances
